It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of David A. Bramble.

Mr. Bramble was a kind and generous man who touched many lives.  After returning from service as a pilot in the 8th Air Force from 1941 to 1947 he built the construction company that bears his name today.  He and his wife Marnie raised a wonderful family of their own while helping hundreds of other families by providing them with jobs.  He enjoyed hunting and fishing, but his favorite hobby was target shooting.  You knew he loved it by the sight of the 5 gallon bucket of spent primers on the floor of his reloading room and the ability of his black lab to find any shells he would hide for him.

Mr. Bramble not only provided for the families of his employees, but he returned so much to the community where he grew up.  His philanthropy has allowed the region to grow to meet the needs of the people.  He established a chemotherapy unit at the local hospital as well as donating money and construction efforts to numerous churches and other charitable organizations.
