• Assist multiple Project Managers and Superintendents to ensure that budgets are met when planning and executing work.

• Discuss and implement best practices for site safety.

• Provide technical support for construction efforts, including participation in construction planning and design; interpretation of design; application of construction methods; resolution and documentation of design conflicts; constructability reviews, etc.

• Manage HCSS Plan Software to ensure the most up-to-date plans are uploaded.

• Estimate change orders.

• Assist in maintaining the schedule.

• Directly manage field operations with Superintendents to ensure that the plan is properly communicated and executed.

• Monitor field progress to ensure that project goals are being met or exceeded.

• Develop action plans to resolve construction-related issues that may occur in the field.

• Maintain good client relationships.

• Attend job meetings as needed.

 

Requirements:

• Engineering and Construction experience is a plus, but not required.

• Paving and asphalt experience is a PLUS.

• Must be able to multi-task.

• Ability to be self-motivating, dependable, a team player, and perform duties with little supervision.

• Strong computer skills REQUIRED.

  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, & Excel.

  • Experience with HCSS Construction Software including Plans, Heavy Bid, & Heavy Job is a plus.

• Must have a valid Driver’s License

• Excellent time management skills; good planning skills

• Able to work in an outdoor setting under varying weather conditions along with night and weekends, as needed
